Subject of data protection

The object of data protection is personal data. According to Art. 4 No. 1 DSGVO, this is all information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter "data subject"). This includes, for example, information such as name, postal address, e-mail address or telephone number, but also usage data where applicable. Usage data is data that is required in order to use our websites, such as information about the beginning, end and extent of the use of our website and login data.

This data protection declaration applies to the career portal and the applicant management system of the DTS Group.

 

Collection and use of your data

AUTOMATED DATA COLLECTION

For operational and maintenance purposes, d.vinci and third-party services may collect files that record interaction that takes place via this application (sys-tem logs) or use other personal data (e.g. IP address) for this purpose.

When accessing d.vinci products, your internet browser automatically transmits data for technical reasons. The following data is stored separately from other data that you may transmit:

- Information about the browser type and the version used (user agent, transmitted by the browser)

- Operating system (user agent, transmitted by the browser)

- the unabbreviated IP address

- the date and time of access

- The website from which the user is redirected to the careers page (referrer, transmitted by the browser).

This data is stored solely for technical reasons and is not assigned to a specific person at any time. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

The following data is logged when emails are received:

- Time, sender and recipient of e-mails.

 

Data entered by the applicant

GENERAL

In order to make the application process transparent for you, we need your name and e-mail address. Last but not least, we also need these and possibly other data to be able to respond to requests, questions and criticism.

Further optional data are:

- Contact details (address, telephone number)

- Curriculum vitae (e.g. school education, vocational training, work experience, language skills)

- Profiles in social networks (e.g. XING, LinkedIn,)

- Documents in connection with job applications (application photos, cover letter, references, work samples, etc.)

PROCESSING OF CURRICULUM VITAE DOCUMENTS

We process and analyse documents uploaded by the applicant in order to extract CV data. The processing takes place within the infrastructure of Textkernel BV.

Textkernel BV subcontractor requirements: Textkernel offers a semantic search, sourcing and matching tool that is integrated into the d.vinci applicant management system. By using these tools, CV- and job-parsing is made possible for personalities. In the course of the processing, the documents containing the CV of the respective applicant are transmitted to the subcontractor Textkernel BV. The information contained there is transferred to the contractor. After the data transfer, the documents are deleted on Textkernel's side.

 

DISCLOSURE OF DATA

As our business evolves, the structure of the DTS Group companies may change by changing legal form, establishing, buying or selling subsidiaries, divisions or components. In such transactions, customer information is transferred together with the part of the company to be transferred. Whenever personal data is transferred to third parties in this context, we ensure that this is done in accordance with this privacy policy and the relevant data protection laws. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

As part of the application process, your data may be forwarded by e-mail to employees of the DTS Group.

 

SALARY STATISTICS MODULE

At various stages of the application process, d.vinci will give you the opportunity to provide feedback on your salary expectations and the salaries offered to you. The information submitted will be anonymised. The information will be stored without linking it to your name and contact details and will be used for statistical purposes in order to improve the application process in the future. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

 

SOCIAL SHARE BUTTONS

It is possible to share the job advertisements on various social networks. Different buttons are offered for each network. After clicking on one of these buttons, you will be referred to the respective networks and will be taken to their login pages. These buttons are not plug-ins and do not transmit any personal data directly to the operators of the social networks. reCAPTCHA

We use reCAPTCHA on this website. As a solution, Simple Captcha is used as a local application.

The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to check whether the data input on this website (e.g. in a contact form) is made by a human being or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor on the basis of various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent by the website visitor on the website or mouse movements made by the applicant).

The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not made aware that an analysis is taking place.

The storage and analysis of the data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSG-VO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offers from abusive automated spying and from SPAM. Insofar as a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.

 

Use of the collected data

Data about the applicant is collected so that we can process your application and d.vinci can provide the services. In addition, data is collected for the following purposes: Analytics, interacting with support and assessment platforms, managing support and contact requests, managing applicant databases, managing contacts and sending messages, contacting the applicant, accessing third-party profiles (e.g. login via Linke-dIn and XING), displaying content from external platforms.

The personal data used for the listed purposes are listed in the respective sections of this document.

Various systems are used to improve the services offered and to assist the customer with support requests.

 

Further information on the collection and processing of data

legal action

The personal data of the Applicant may be used by the Controller for legal purposes in legal proceedings or before possible lawsuits arising from the improper use of d.vinci products or related services. The applicant is aware that we and also d.vinci could be requested by the authorities to hand over personal data. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. e DSGVO.

 

Information not contained in this data protection declaration

Further information on the collection or processing of personal data can be requested at any time from the responsible office via the contact details provided.

 

Rights of applicants

Applicants are entitled to know at any time whether their personal data have been stored and may contact the controller to find out the content and origin of the stored data, to verify their accuracy, to request their integration, deletion, updating, rectification or transformation into an anonymous format or blocking of unlawfully stored data, as well as to oppose their processing for legitimate reasons.

To do so, please contact us at datenschutz@dts.de or by post at the address of the respective company of the DTS Group.

You can also exercise your right of objection at any time without giving reasons and amend or completely revoke the declaration of consent with effect for the future. You can send the revocation to the contractual partner either by post, e-mail or fax. You will not incur any costs other than the postage costs or the transmission costs according to the existing basic rates. Please note, however, that it will then not be possible to take your application into account.

 

Storage period

After completion of the application process, your data will be stored for 6 months in case of employment and for 6 months in case of rejection.

d.vinci products support do not track requests through web browsers.

Please refer to the privacy policy of the respective service for information on whether third-party providers used follow the do-not-track protocol.

 

Right to complain to a supervisory authority

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR. The supervisory authority to which the complaint has been lodged will inform the complainant of the status and outcome of the complaint, including the possibility of a judicial remedy under Article 78 GDPR.

 

Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by informing you accordingly on this page. Applicants are therefore advised to visit this page regularly and to check the date of the last change indicated at the bottom of the page. If an applicant rejects a change to the data protection declaration, he/she may no longer use the services of d.vinci and may request us to delete his/her personal data. Unless otherwise stated, the current data protection declaration applies to all personal data which the responsible body has stored about an applicant.
